SMD Infra Ventures Private Limited was incorporated in the year 2011 to carry on the business of real estate and development of land/premises/building, creation of plots for the purpose of sale, lease & to carry on the business of colonizers & developers, construction of commercial/residential buildings, sale and purchase of properties on commission basis.
The registered office of the company is located above IDBI Bank, outside Sunami Gate, Sangrur, Punjab- 148001. The authorised capital and the paid-up capital of the Company is Rs. 1,00,000 only.
The application for initiation of Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (“CIRP”) was filed by the Financial Creditors of M/s SMD Infra Ventures Private Limited namely, Mr. Daljit Singh, Mr. Sachin Singh and Mr. Jiwan Sharma under section 7 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 and the same was admitted by the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench vide order CP (IB) No. 52/Chd/Pb/2018 dated 03.04.2018 and Mr. Deepak Gupta was appointed as the Interim Resolution Professional in the matter.
Thereafter, an application to initiate liquidation proceedings against M/s SMD Infra Ventures Private Limited was filed by the Resolution Professional and the same was admitted by the Hon’ble NCLT, Chandigarh Bench in CA No. 530/2018 in CP (IB) No.52/Chd/Pb/2018 on 25.01.2019 and Shri Kuljeet Singh was appointed as Liquidator in the matter.
That on 17.02.2022, Shri Kuljeet Singh was replaced by the Hon’ble NCLT and Mr. Amit Kumar Goyal bearing Reg. No. IBBI/IPA-003/ICAI-N-00317/2020-2021/13342 was appointed as Liquidator in the matter of M/s SMD Infra Ventures Private Limited w.e.f. 17.02.2022.
